Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Byron Eco Luxe Cleaning. By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed once service details are agreed upon and any required payment or deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule bookings where payment has not been made within the agreed timeframe.

2. Minimum Booking Time

A minimum booking of 3 hours applies to all services, regardless of whether the clean takes less time. This supports fair scheduling, professional standards, and sustainable employment practices.

3. Payment Terms

  • One-off cleans, Airbnb cleans, last-minute cleans, and deep/high-duty cleans require payment in full prior to the service or on the day of the clean.

  • Larger or more involved cleans may require a 50% deposit, with the balance due upon completion.

  • Scheduled weekly or fortnightly cleans are invoiced on an agreed recurring basis.

All payment terms will be communicated clearly prior to confirmation.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require the following notice for cancellations or changes:

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: no fee

  • 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of booking fee

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or same-day cancellations: 100% of booking fee

Failure to provide access to the property at the scheduled time will be treated as a late cancellation.

5. Last-Minute & Urgent Cleans

Last-minute or urgent cleans are subject to availability and incur a higher fee due to short-notice scheduling and operational demands. Full payment is required upfront to secure these bookings.

6. Scope of Services

Byron Eco Luxe Cleaning provides internal house cleaning services.

We may offer a light tidy of outdoor areas (such as decks, verandahs, or pool surrounds), including leaf blowing or light sweeping, where time allows. This does not include detailed exterior cleaning.

We do not provide:

  • Lawns or gardening

  • Pressure washing

  • Exterior wall cleaning

  • Pool cleaning or maintenance

  • Gutter, roof, or façade cleaning

  • Construction or renovation cleans

  • Carpet steam cleaning or upholstery cleaning

Only services agreed upon at the time of booking are included. Additional tasks may incur extra charges or require rescheduling.

7. Supply Restock Add-On (Airbnb / Short-Stay)

Where a Supply Restock Add-On is selected:

  • Supplies are eco-friendly wherever possible

  • Quantities are reasonable per stay

  • Premium or branded items are quoted separately

  • Where the Supply & Restock Service is selected, a service fee of $30 per clean applies, plus the cost of consumables used. Consumables are charged at cost and itemised on the invoice.

    Guest consumables will be replenished as agreed

  • Where additional products or materials are required beyond standard cleaning supplies, these will be charged at cost and itemised on the invoice.

Byron Eco Luxe Cleaning is not responsible for guest misuse, overuse, or removal of supplies once provided.

8. Access, Utilities & Vacant Properties

Clients must ensure:

  • Safe and clear access at the scheduled time

  • Electricity and water are available

  • Properties are safe and structurally sound

We strongly recommend properties are vacant during the clean to allow our team to work efficiently and thoroughly.

9. Health, Safety & Hazardous Conditions

We do not undertake:

  • Heavy mould remediation

  • Biohazard or trauma cleaning

  • Pest or rodent waste removal

If unsafe conditions are encountered, we reserve the right to cease work immediately. Fees may still apply.

10. Pets

Pets must be secured or disclosed in advance. We are not responsible for pets escaping due to client negligence.

11. Breakages & Damage

While care is always taken, cleaning carries inherent risks.

  • Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or normal wear and tear

  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

12. Valuables & Fragile Items

Clients are responsible for securing valuables. We are not liable for damage to items that are fragile, unstable, or unsuitable for standard cleaning.

13. Satisfaction & Re-Clean Policy

If you are not satisfied with an aspect of our service:

  • Notify us within 24 hours

  • We may offer a re-clean of the affected area

  • Refunds are not provided unless required by law

14. Weather & Force Majeure

Services may be adjusted or postponed due to extreme weather, natural events, illness, or circumstances beyond our control.

15. Pricing & Changes

Prices may be reviewed periodically. Clients will be notified in advance of any changes affecting ongoing services.

16. Privacy

Client information is handled confidentially and used only for service delivery and communication. Details shared via client forms are stored securely.

17. Agreement

By booking with Byron Eco Luxe Cleaning, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
