Yes. We have a minimum booking of 3 hours, regardless of whether the clean takes less time.
This allows us to:

Cover travel, setup, and equipment costs
Pay our cleaners fairly and sustainably
Ensure your property receives proper care and attention
This policy helps us deliver consistent, professional results for every client.

At this stage, we do not offer a full linen hire or changeover service. However, if your property has a washer and dryer, we are very happy to wash and dry your existing linen on site as part of your clean.

Yes. While we specialise in detailed, high-end cleaning, we also offer basic clean and tidy services for properties that don’t require a deep clean. For example, light preparation for guests, events, or inspections. We’re always happy to advise on the most suitable service for your space.

No travel fees apply within our standard service area.
If we agree to take on a clean outside this region, any applicable travel fee will be quoted and agreed upon prior to the job — no surprises. -
We use only high-quality, eco-friendly products that are effective, safe, and gentle on both people and the environment. Our products include:

Other carefully selected eco-conscious solutions
We also use professional-grade backpack vacuum cleaners with 18-metre extension cords, allowing us to clean efficiently and thoroughly — even in larger or multi-level properties.

We understand the level of detail, care, discretion, and consistency required in premium spaces — and we clean accordingly. -
We strongly recommend the property is vacant during the clean.
This allows our team to work efficiently, safely, and thoroughly — ensuring the best possible result for your space. -
For one-off cleans (including Airbnb and deep cleans), we recommend payment in full prior to the clean.
For larger or more involved jobs, a 50% deposit with the balance due upon completion may apply.For scheduled weekly or fortnightly cleans, payment is typically made via ongoing invoicing on an agreed schedule.
Clear payment terms will always be communicated before work begins.

Northern Rivers Eco Cleaning provides a house cleaning service.
We’re happy to offer a light tidy of outdoor areas such as decks, verandahs, and pool surrounds where time allows. This may include:
Blowing leaves and debris
Light sweeping or tidying
General presentation touch-ups
Our team all carry leaf blowers for this purpose. Please note that outdoor areas involve a much heavier workload, so this service is limited to a basic tidy only and does not replace a full exterior or pressure clean.
We do not offer:
Full exterior or pressure cleaning
Lawns or gardening services
Detailed deck scrubbing or restoration
Pool cleaning or maintenance
Exterior walls or façades
Garage or shed cleans

Our standard service does not include exterior window cleaning.
However, for minimal, easy-to-reach exterior windows, we may be able to include these as a courtesy if conditions allow and it does not impact the quality of the internal clean.For safety reasons, we do not work at heights or use ladders beyond what is reasonable for a house cleaning service.

For health and safety reasons, we do not move heavy furniture or appliances.
We’re very happy to clean around items and underneath where easily accessible. -
We remove normal household rubbish as part of a clean but do not provide hard waste removal, construction debris removal, or bulk rubbish disposal.

We do not undertake specialised cleaning such as:
Heavy mould remediation
Biohazard or trauma cleaning
Construction or post-renovation debris
Pest or rodent waste removal
If we encounter any of the above, we’ll notify you immediately and recommend appropriate specialists.

We do not offer carpet steam cleaning, shampooing, or upholstery cleaning.
We are happy to vacuum thoroughly as part of our standard house cleaning service. -
We clean within safe, reasonable reach. For safety reasons, we do not:
Work on roofs
Clean gutters
Access high ceilings, skylights, or fans that require ladders beyond normal household step access

Yes — we understand the urgency involved with needing a clean done stat/pronto/yesterday and we do our best to accommodate last-minute and urgent cleaning requests, subject to availability.
Please note that last-minute cleans incur a higher fee. This reflects:
Schedule changes and short notice mobilisation
Re-prioritising existing bookings
Team availability outside standard planning windows
The additional coordination required to deliver quality results on short notice

Payment is required in full upfront to secure the booking
Scope of work may need to be clearly defined and prioritised due to time constraints
A minimum 3-hour booking still applies

While we always aim to maintain our high standards, last-minute cleans may focus on key priority areas rather than a full detailed service if time is limited.

Yes. We offer an optional Airbnb Supply Restock Service, where we top up essential guest consumables at each clean. This can be provided as an all-inclusive package or charged at cost plus a management fee.
We’re happy to tailor supply levels to suit your property and guest turnover, or work with products you already provide.
